３４日目

日曜日に去年オーストラリアに出会った友達と会った。彼女らはオーストラリアで留学した。

最初日本語を勉強し始めた解き、その二人とよく言語交換し、私は大学にカフェで喋ったり笑ったりした頃に会った色々なことを今でもハッキリ覚えている。

当時に私は日本語をろくに話せなかったのに気になっていなかった。

 

久しぶりに友達と京都で会って、桜を見るように祇園へ行った。

天候のため私達は外出したままを続けられなかったから桜を見た後早速ランチ・カフェへ向かった。

又私はかわいいカフェで食べた。

看板が見えない店が多いので、知識のある友達がいなければ日本ではセブンーイレブンにある食べ物しか食べなかった。

 

カフェには、暖かい雰囲気で溢れて、北欧の調度品で付けられ、雨降って板時間にはちょうど良かった。

友達と一緒にタコライスとパスタゆっくり食べて、就職活動に文句を言った。

NMB48とザ・ヴァンプスについて話しすぎても、その日はめっちゃ楽しかった。

 

 

Day 34

 

On Sunday I met up with some friends I had made last year while they were studying as exchange students in Australia.

When I first began learning Japanese, I would often meet up with the two and we would have language-exchange café chats. I have a lot of memories of laughing and talking about not much at all. At the time I could barely speak Japanese, but when you’re bantering you don’t pay any mind to the horrible state of your speaking ability.

 

It had been a while since we’d seen each other when we met up in Kyoto, and we caught up as we went to see the sakura in Gion. The weather was pretty miserable, so we weren’t able to stay outside for long. After checking out the flowers we promptly headed for the lunch-café.

 

Once again, I unavoidably ate at a cute café.

If it weren’t for my savvy friends, I’m positive my experience with Japanese food would be largely restricted to 7-eleven.

 

The atmosphere in the café was super cosy, decorated in Scandinavian style, and a perfect fit for the rainy day. Together we ate pasta and tako-raisu as we complained about the job-searching.

Even though we talked about NMB48 and The Vamps too much, it was a great day.
