(English) Islam : day 51 & 52

Hello everyone,
Last Friday we took the bus from Kyoto station and arrived in Hiroshima on Saturday morning really early. It was really cloudy and it rained a little. We visited the Dome, the Memorial peace park and the museum, it was really sad but a really good experience at the same time. We finished our sightseeing with the castle and ate sushi before taking the bus to our way back to Kyoto.

On Sunday we went to Hanami spring festival in Gion, where Japanese people were having picnics under the sakura trees, even if it was cloudy it was beautiful and people seemed to enjoy their time a lot. I was a little tired after our trip so I went back home early.

On Monday we visited together with Emori san and Masha a resort in Shijo named Shinkamanza. We met Kimura san’s friend Kiraeri, he’s running his own business and he is really talented. He is a designer and tries to marry the Japanese old style matchya houses with the confort of modernity, the result is really amazing. We met his Italian intern Alessia, she is really nice. We had lunch with the staff at a really good Italian restaurant and had a very funny chat about the way Italian people talk with their hands! It was a really nice afternoon. When I was back at the office I found some cute biscuits on my desk left by my sweet colleague Ma ii san and I ate them today after lunch, delicious!

Tomorrow I am leaving for a business trip to Yokohama and Tokyo and I’m super happy to have this chance! I’m so lucky for that and I love having so many things to do!

See you soon.
