(English) Islam : day 58

This weekend me and Masha had the chance to wear these very beautiful and authentic Japanese dresses called Yukata, thanks to our bosses, it was their gift for us and it was really amazing. We were so happy with our outfits that we couldn’t stop taking pictures. We went to Gion and enjoyed the view of the bloomed cherry flowers.

On Sunday we had an Aiesec event called Global kitchen, where every Exchange participant had to prepare a special dish of his/her country. Masha prepared a potato salad, it’s a very common dish in Germany, Tavo made alambre and Nissa did some flower shaped crepes. Nissa is from Malaysia and it was the first time that I met her, I’m sorry she’s leaving next week because she was really nice. I made tiramisu and I was so surprised to see that they had found every ingredient in Japan. I had an Aiesec team and they were really helpful we finished preparing the dessert before the others and at the end we ate all the dishes together. It was a really nice experience to meet them and share with them a bit of our culture as well.

In the evening we went to the Toji temple to see the lightened up sakura trees, it was spectacular, I am so grateful that Kimura san offered me the tickets to access the temple.

I’m so excited for my interview tomorrow with Misumi group. I can’t wait!

See you tomorrow
