(English) Islam : day 37

Hi there,

This weekend we did a lot of sightseeing and it was very nice. On Saturday we have been to Kobe, which is one of Japan’s most attractive and cosmopolitan cities. It was a maritime gateway from the earliest days of trade with China.

We had the chance to visit a very pleasant European style neighborhood called Kitano-chõ. We took a lot of pictures at Nunobiki falls and we could even see the sunset from the beach next to the huge bridge connecting it to a little island. Last thing we did before going back was going to an observation deck from which the view was spectacular.

On Sunday we went to Kinkaku ji temple, known as the Golden temple, and it was really goldy! We were lucky to have Manabu with us, he is a friend of Masha, he is Japanese but speaks English and Spanish as well, so we could rely on him to read and explain us everything. He gave us a lot of interesting information about the place.

It was a very rich weekend. This morning I had a meeting with Kimura san and my AIESEC manager Ryutaro. He was worried about the fact that I would find it difficult to make the other employees understand me, but I told him that they are very nice and can communicate with them.
