Grinding

We deal with grinding of square materials such as iron, stainless, and aluminum ceramic (non-ferrous metal), grinding of inner diameter, grinding of ultraprecise taper, and tolerance in microscale that machine technology cannot bring.

We especially specialize in mating part for cylindrical grinding, grinding of inner diameter, and tapered materials, and aim at meeting the present-day needs making good use of multipurpose technology and artisans’ skill.

Fitting
Operators manually cut an object with 90% accuracy with the taper gauge NT.NO35 provided by customers in a short time, and cutting will be completed after the operators make sure of clearance (±0 in use) between the object and structural carbon steel with the measuring gauge (provided by customers). We can manage not only structural rolled steel SS400 but also structural carbon steels S45C S25C S35C, chrome alloy steels SCM435 SCM440, nickel chrome steel SNC415, molybdenum steels SNCM439 SNCM447, stainless steels SUS303 SUS304 SUS304L SUS316 SUS440 SUS420J2 SUS 630, titanium steel Ti6AL-4V, and pure titanium. We also cut ceramic-coated (alumina Al2 or chromium oxide Cr2O3) metals and manage other materials in various shapes.

ID grinding, ID grinding with high-hardness steel/special steel

We performed the ID grinding finish (including lapping) of semi-finished products supplied by a manufacturer.
Their dimensions were φ19.06 - 40.00 and L 10 -180 and an accuracy of 1μm was required for roundness, ellipticity and taperness.
This machining challenges the technique of our worker how to ensure the accuracies on the machines.
We used three ID grinding machines for this.
Air micrometers were used as the measuring instruments to guarantee the quality of the order of μm

Material: SUS303, SUS304

Process: Machining, flat-surface grinding
We can machine a thin plate part with geometric and dimensional tolerances of surface parallelism within 0.01 mm. Depending on work size, we handle all types of materials on regular basis.
We can also perform flat-surface grinding of aluminum (A7075, A2017, A5052, etc.).

Process: Lathing, machining, quenching, OD grinding, flat-surface grinding
Since high accuracies were required for dimensions and geometrical tolerances (coaxiality, squareness, etc.) by the manufacturer, all the final dimensions were machined by grinding to achieve their accuracies after quenching. We perform the integrated control of our multi-process including lathing, milling, quenching, and grinding and precision machining.

Material: We can handle all the general materials such as SUS and SKD.
Process: Semi-mirror grinding
Surface roughness: MAX. 0.2S
As for quality assurance, we measure surface roughness using a surface tester and attach the 3D measurement data attach if necessary. The size of work needs to be negotiated in advance.
