Not only processing of round materials such as iron, stainless, and aluminum, composite processing of round materials, and processing of square materials but also two-dimensional processing, and production and processing of three-dimensional solid model are available.  We can directly process the customers’ drawing data.

Under the various integrated production systems, we offer the products that are excellent for single part processing as well, aiming at technological improvement without mass production.  The integration of analogue and digital technology enables us to meet customers’ demands flexibly.

Material: SCM415

Process: Lathing and 4-axis machining
Although the program could be created with CAD/CAM, the reduction of operation time was realized by creating a manual program due to various warp angles.
The machining can be done by just changing the numerical values of cutter diameter, warp angle, outer diameter and overall length.

Material: SUS304

Tip groove: 0.4+0/-0.01
High accuracy was ensured by calculating the tip tolerance and deformation during the machining.
Grooves of 0.3 – 0.5 mm width were machined with an accuracy of the order of μm.
We specialize in machining of work sizes from a fingertip to palms of both hands.

Material: A7075
Dimensions: φ80 × 60, 2 pcs.
Process: Lathing, machining, grinding
The upper and lower parts were separately lathed and machined with our machining center and assembled. Then the parts were fit together (assembled) and the mating surfaces at the ID taper were finished by lathing. For the lower part, deep taper machining is also possible with the machining center.
We can also perform OD grinding of aluminum (A2017, A7075, A5052 or equivalent, etc.).

Traditionally, machining of this type of shape required several processes, however the introduction of a 5-axis processing machine realizes high-accuracy machining of most machining shapes by one-chuck machining

Material: Inconel 625 (Alloy 625)
Since this alloy has an excellent corrosion resistance as well as high strength and toughness from very low temperature to a high temperature of 980°C, oxidation resistance and fatigue strength, jigs etc. must be considered for the machining of a small diameter axis in the case of such a shape due to the material property.

The machining time was about 3 times longer than that for SS400 and S50C (in-house comparison).

Due to heavy wear of cutting tools, it is difficult to machine this part with normal tools. We machined it by using custom tools and selecting our original condition.

Groove width: 0.5 ± 0.01

Material: Inconel625 (Alloy625)

This alloy with excellent corrosion resistance also possesses high strength, toughness, oxidation resistance, and fatigue strength.
On account of this material property, therefore, the use of jigs should be considered in the case of processing small-diameter shafts.
We can manage general structural rolled steel SS400, structural carbon steel S45C, S25C, S35C, chromium alloy steel SCM435, SCM440, and nickel chromium steel SNC415. We are also ready to accept individual requests to lathe other aluminum and brass materials.

Process: Simultaneous 5-axis processing machine (MAM72-63V)
We machined this part with the theme of cosmos to exhibit it at an aerospace held at Nagoya.
The HP addresses of KIMURASS and our company were engraved on the head. Although it took time to create the 3D model, only the ball end mill was used for the cutting work. Although there were undercut areas in this part, it was machined successfully through the cutting operation using our 5-axis processing machine.
